The Greatest has an open floor plan with three Queen beds. Thoughtfully arranged furniture defines distinct zones within the space, allowing for both lively gatherings and intimate conversations. Enjoy the convenience of a fully equipped kitchen, complete with cookware, dishes, a coffee maker, and a well-stocked kitchen.

Check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM. Times may be flexible upon request. Please note that parking is available on the street and also paid parking options nearby (free parking is west of 9th street, $6 per day for the lot directly next to the building, or metered street parking). We kindly ask that you adhere to our no-pets and no-smoking policies.

Enjoy the city view in a secure building, located at the start of Bourbon Trail, Museum Row, and just blocks from the KFC Yum! Center, Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts, Muhammad Ali Center, Louisville Slugger Museum, 4th Street Live, Evans Williams Bourbon Distillery, 21c Hotel, 8up, Proof on Main, and many others! The building is also walking distance to the Ohio River waterfront where you can enjoy a picnic and/or a breezy jog. You're also only 10 minutes away from Historic Churchill Downs. Leaving downtown? The Ninth Street highway exit is one block away.

This is an absolutely fantastic place to stay, whether you’re traveling with friends, family, or solo. The location is incredible—right in downtown Louisville and just a 2–5 minute walk to some of the best restaurants and distilleries, including Michter’s Fort Nelson. Its maybe 2 min walk from the louisville sluggers museum. Tons of stuff to do nearby if your coming with kids and your family. The host is extremely knowledgeable about all things whiskey and bourbon and went above and beyond to help us plan some amazing VIP distillery tours. He even knows the diff drop dates and what bottles might be dropping at each distillery, which was a huge bonus for us. I’ll definitely be using him again next time to help plan my trip. Highly recommend this stay. Ask him any questions you have before you book a tour. He can recomend the best stuff to do.

We had a great time. This loft is conveniently located near almost anything you’d want to do near downtown. The loft has all of the kitchen necessities and high quality appliances. There are plenty of beds and the areas still give a feeling of privacy despite being a loft. The couch and bed in front of the TV are great for relaxing and watching a movie and the Street Fighter arcade has a nostalgic vibe.

Getting around is a breeze. You will be walking distance from most attractions. Cabs, Uber, Lyft are also readily available. You'll find several public transportation options nearby, including bus routes that run frequently throughout the city. The nearest bus stop is just a short walk away, offering easy access to various attractions and neighborhoods. For those arriving by air, Louisville International Airport (SDF) is approximately a 15-minute drive. Parking is available on the street, and there are also paid parking options in the vicinity. This allows you to explore the city with ease, whether you prefer public transit or driving.
